Miniature Zeuthen Keramik dotted bud vase, Denmark circa 1960’s

This is a Lovely miniature bud vase by Zeuthen Keramik, Denmark circa 1950’s / 60’s.

A Wonderful design by this small pottery, Nordisk Brugskunst ( Nordic Applied Art) was founded around 1946 by Normann Zeuthen who introduced the name “Zeuthen Keramik” in 1948.

Edith Nielsen was their primary designer, responsible for their trademark style of hand applied partial glaze decoration of dots, stripes, clover leaves, small flowers or stars.

This small vase has the distinctive dark red / brown clay base, with a random applied pattern of white globular dots. Very minimal and so reminiscent of the Danish Modern designs of the mid century era.

Would look fantastic with a single bud or stem. Perfect to add to a group or collection of Zeuthen, Scandinavian, European pottery. Would complement any retro, vintage, 1950’s, 1960’s, Danish Modern, mid century, minimal or contemporary interior.

In Excellent Condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. Handmarked to the base ‘Denmark’.

Measures 7.5 x 5 x 5cm / 3 x 2 x 2in.
