This is a beautiful tea cup and saucer / cake plate set, made by Foley Bone China, Staffordshire, England circa mid 1950’s.

A fantastic design by Maureen Tanner, ‘April’ inspired by her travels around Italy after studying at the Royal College of Art. Made of quality bone china / porcelain and decorated with transfer prints of a girl / lady holding a mirror, surrounded by motifs of flowers and leaves, a delightful illustration picked out in yellow and pink.

Set of 4 teak lidded ceramic canisters, by Bitossi Ceramiche, Italy circa 1960’s

These are a Fantastic set of 4 teak lidded ceramic canisters, by Bitossi Ceramiche, Italy circa 1960’s / 1970’s.

A Wonderful bright design, probably by Aldo Londi, with their lower half having a glossy orange glaze, incised with vertical ribs. Contrasting with the unglazed middle section which has the rough texture so reminiscent of Bitossi pieces. Capped by a glossy white rim and each having a teak lid which has a rubber seal to secure it.

The colours and style are so typical of the mid century era and of Londi’s iconic work for Bitossi.

A Very unusual and highly collectable set of canisters, prefect for storage in a retro kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, office or living room, but would equally look great as decoration in any room arranged in a row or cluster on a table or mantelpiece.

Would make an Excellent addition to any collection of Italian / European pottery and would complement any 1960’s, 70’s, retro, vintage, mid century, minimal, modernist or contemporary interior.

In Excellent Condition, no cracks or chips, some crazing to the white glaze and irregularities in the unglazed areas from production. The lids have a lovely age related patina to them.

The largest pot measures 19 x 14 x 14cm / 7.5 x 5.5 x 5.5in.

Second largest measures 16 x 12 x 12cm / 6.5 x 4.75 x 4.75in.

Third largest measures 13 x 10 x 10cm / 5 x 4 x 4 in.

Smallest pot measures 9.5 x 7.5 x 7.5cm

Handpainted marks to the bases ‘320 Italy’, ‘321 Italy’, ‘323 Italy’.

Vintage condiment / cruet set, Guzzini, Italy circa 1960’s

This is a Stunning retro condiment / cruet set with stand, by Guzzini, Italy circa 1960’s.

A Fantastic design, so reminiscent of the era, with its classic orange and white colourway retro plastic styling.

The circular white plastic stand / tray has a deep rim to hold the cruets and bottles, and a chrome / stainless steel carry handle.
The two tall bottles for oil and vinegar marked ‘O’ and ‘V’ have orange plastic cylindrical bodies with mini spouts at the top, and white domed removeable lids for filling.
The salt and pepper cruets, marked ‘S’ and ‘P’, have a stunning curved teardrop shape, with holes at the top for dispensing and plastic stoppers on the bases for easy filling.

Beautiful design by this renowned Italian maker of classic iconic 1960’s homeware pieces. Lovely styling in form and colour, vibrant and reflects the Space Age / Pop Art influences of the era.

Would make a Great addition to any retro, vintage, mid century, space age, pop art, 1960’s, minimal or contemporary kitchen or table setting.

In Excellent Condition, a few miniscule marks, nothing to detract on display, the stoppers on the cruets are both different, but work perfectly.

The bottles still have the original Guzzini labels on the bases!

Total size of stand is 22 x 14 x 14cm / 8.75 x 5.5 x 5.5in.

The bottles measure 18 x 5 x 5cm / 7 x 2 x 2in.

The cruets measure 7.5 x 5 x 5cm / 3 x 2 x 2in.
