This is a beautiful Studio Laurana Rame D’ Arte enamelled copper wall clock, made in Italy circa 1960’s.

A fantastic design from this ‘copper art’ studio founded by Franco Bastianelli in Pesaro, Italy in 1958.

Stunning Italian modernist / brutalist style very reminiscent of the work of Curtis Jere and Marcello Fantoni during the mid century era.

The clock face is made of copper, with indentations and holes roughly hewn around the rim, embellished with shimmering fiery multicoloured enamelled glazes. In the middle are raised glassy droplets to roughly mark the time.

Fitted with a very reliable German Kienzle movement and lovely period brass hands.

Would make a prefect addition for any mid century, modernist, brutalist, 1950’s, 1960’s, vintage, retro or contemporary interior as a practical piece of wall art!

In excellent condition, a little crazing to the thick enamel as is common with these pieces, nothing to detract on display. In fully working order, keeping good time, takes one size C. 1.5V battery not included.

Measures 30 x 30 x 5.5cm / 12 x 12 x 2.25in.

Hand signed to the back with the artists name (indistinct) and partially under the mechanism.

This is a Stunning Nautical / Zodiac style hanging wall clock on a rope, made by Kienzle, Germany circa 1950’s.

A Fantastic Art Deco design, with the round face mounted on a white coated metal body and brass rimmed, Very reminiscent of the era with the stylised Zodiac symbols and sleek rounded form. Lovely brass hands and clasps holding the rope, similar to a ships clock design.
Incorporates elements of the Bauhaus / Modernist design movements in Germany at the time. Most likely a Heinrich Moeller design, who produced many stunning Deco pieces for this highly renowned clock maker.

Would make a great stylish practical addition to any nautical, retro, vintage, art deco, modernist, mid century or contemporary styled interior. Perfect for an office, hallway or living room.

In Full Working Order, fitted with the original Kienzle battery operated mechanism. Takes 1 x 1.5V battery (not supplied).

In Excellent Condition, a little tarnishing to the brass, some marks to the white enamel behind the frame, not visible on display, nothing to detract from the overall look.

The clock measures 27 x 27 x 4.5cm / 10.5 x 10.5 x 1.75in.

This is a Great Vintage Starburst / Sunburst decorative wall clock by Seth Thomas, Scotland circa 1960’s.

A Fantastic unusual design by this renowned maker of high quality clocks, especially known for their large mid century teak starburst wall clocks.
This rare design is very decorative, with its black metal ‘rays’ elegantly curved and looped at the ends. Embellished with leaves in a burnished copper / gold effect. The face has large printed Roman numerals and an ornate patterned line drawing in the centre.
Very bold, striking, elegant and easy to read, practical and beautiful!

Would make a Wonderful statement piece for any retro, vintage, mid century, atomic, Eames, 1950’s, 60’s, minimal or contemporary styled interior.

Fitted with a brand new Quartz mechanism and hands, battery operated with 1 x 1.5V / AA battery, not included.

In Excellent Condition, no marks or scratches. Fully Working.
